Peter, James, and John go with Jesus up a mountain, and there they see him transfigured. On that mountain, Jesus has with him great Old Testament saints, great New Testament apostles, and the Father. All this prepares him for his last trip that ends at the cross. Waiting for him at the base of the mountain is a father with a demon possessed son.

This is three stories in one. It stats with Jesus and his disciples traveling through Gentile country. This section ends with Jesus feeding 4,000 gentiles. He then goes across to the Jewish side of the Sea of Galilee where the religious leaders argue with him. Finally Jesus takes his disciples north to Caesarea Philippi, where he is proclaimed to be the Messiah.
