This is the fourth of four stories that happen during the "Time of the Judges." Actually, it is a transition story between the judges and the first king. It is taken from I Samuel 4-6. The Philistines were afraid when the Israelites brought the Ark of God to the battlefield. They knew how powerful the God of Israel was. So, they decided to steal it and get that power for themselves. The story of what happened is fun to listen to. It is told by John Walsh and is a part of the series, Lesser-known Stories of the Old Testament.
