This is the second of a 2-part story about Balaam. Both parts are taken from Numbers, chapters 22 – 24. In the first part, the Moabite king sends for Balaam, but Balaam runs into many obstacles in getting there. Once there, he runs into more roadblocks in putting a curse on the people. Finally, he gives the king a plan that works, but Balaam dies as a result of that advice. The story is told by John Walsh and is a part of the series, Lesser-known Stories of the Old Testament. Be sure to check out the devotional that was written to go along with this story - Balaam Should Have Known Better.
